Class Activities:
Students arrived and wrote down months of the year and categorized the list of holidays celebrated in the Spanish-speaking world by month (attached).
We did some review, including days of the week, months, parts of day, meals of the day, and things in the classroom. Attached is a photo of the board.
Students had 20 minutes in the computer lab to investigate an important holiday that's happening right now in the Spanish-speaking world: Carnaval.
