3rd Period Matrix- 4/13

Class Activities:

-Students reviewed the difference between preterite and imperfect past tense verbs.
-We went over homework answers together.
-Students learned another way imperfect is used in the past. It can be used to describe a scene in the past, such as “I was sitting in the chair”. However, it can also be used to express something that you used to do. So to say, I used to play basketball, you would say “Yo jugaba baloncesto.”
-We went over the irregular verbs in imperfect tense.
-Students continued to conjugate imperfect verbs on their verb sheets.
-For homework, students must write 5 sentences that each begin with “Cuando era nino/nina...” (When I was a young boy/girl...) to tell something that they used to do in the past. It is due next class, Wed 4/18.
