3rd Period Matrix- 10/12

-Everyday in class, students practice conversational skills by responding to these questions: "¿Cómo estás?", "¿Cuántos años tienes?", and "¿Cómo te llamas?". Students will have an oral QUIZ on these questions next class period (Friday 10/14). They are expected to be able to answer all three questions in complete sentences. Students were given a study sheet for the quiz (see attachment).
-We learned directional commands:
Right = Derecha
Left = Izquierda
Forward = Adelante
Back = De atrás
-We practiced with these commands by learning how to dance salsa, one of the most popular dances throughout Latin countries.
-We played a game where the class had to lead a blindfolded student through an obstacle course by using Spanish directional commands.
-We also learned transportation vocabulary and discussed what type of transportation we would use to go to different locations. (see attachment)
