Students complete attached activity to practice talking about time.
Introduced new vocabulary:
el día (day)
What are the parts of the day?
la mañana (the morning)
la tarde (the afternoon)
la noche (the night)
Hay 24 horas en un día.
Hay 7 días en una semana.
Hay 4 semanas en un mes.
Hay 12 meses en un año.
Practiced vocabulary by giving clues and students gave response:

La _____ de hoy es el 19 de enero. fecha
Numbers 1-100 were written on the board. Students wrote down numbers 1-20.
Tarea: Continue to review all time vocabulary (days, months, seasons, and vocabulary from today). Memorize numbers 1-20.
